Jack gets over the line again, in more ways than one – –

A couple of days ago I entered my 83^rd year! What does it feel like?

I’ve often said that I still feel like I’m 28 years old, so just turn 82 the other way round and that’s how I feel!

The highs and lows?

When I was 28 I was not expecting something that would eventually put me in a very low place. Then, by pure chance, Wendy appeared and rescued me. So – I’ve had a number of different lives but with many long lasting friendships spanning all of them!

Does this sound morbid? Of course not, and I’ve no plans to exit any time soon. I’m still 28!!

I have almost 130 birthday greetings on Facebook, and I’ve read every one but don’t have the ability to answer them all. They are appreciated, some are poignant, some are very personal and, of course, there are some that would have been there from departed friends and loved ones that are much missed.

But new friends keep coming along – –
