Southern Festival of the Book Link

Just in the door from Southern Festival of the Book, and cracking open a bottle of red wine! Home Sweet Home. I promise to blog all the fun bits tomorrow, but meanwhile, here’s the link to the talk I gave as filmed by C-Span’s Books TV:

  1. LOVED hearing your voice describing the things I read in your book! So well done, you are a natural story teller! I laughed and even teared up in places. Wonderful job Wendy. Susie

I saw you on CSpan yesterday, loved your talk, ordered your book. How wonderful to see someone making a difference, making a life instead of just trying for money and fame. I love books, book stores, used book stores, particularily any local book store. The best to you, your hustand, Kelli, and all of the Big Stone Gap community. I first heard of Big Stone Gap when reading Adriana Trigiani’s book Big Stone Gap. I read more of her’s and heard her at Joseph-Beth bookstore here. She is a wonderful speaker. So are you as you both have so much enthusiam and energy. P Wilson in Lexington, Kentucky

  3. Wonderful – just wonderful. Loved the whole talk. I’m chuffed to be your husband’s sister! I felt quite emotional watching your presentation. (And your hair looked just fine 😉 )
